NORFOLK, Va. Aaron Rome's late third period power play goal propelled the Manitoba Moose (16-12-4-0) past the Norfolk Admirals (12-15-1-0) 4-1 on Friday night in the first ever meeting between the clubs at Norfolk Scope Arena.
The Moose took a 1-0 lead 14:17 into the contest. Guillaume Desbiens sent a pass from the left corner toward the right point as Aaron Rome crossed the blue line entering the attacking zone. Rome one-timed the puck past a screened Norfolk netminder Dustin Tokarski.

Dustin Tokarski (30 shots, 28 saves) took the loss. Cory Schneider (29 shots, 28 saves) earned the win.
