Nikita Namestnikov scored twice and Cedric Desjardins turned aside all 19 shots he faced to lead the Syracuse Crunch to a 4-0 victory over the Norfolk Admirals Saturday night at Scope.

The Crunch, Tampa Bay's AHL affiliate, thus swept the two-game series. Two Syracuse players who competed for the Admirals during their Tampa Bay affiliation, Jean-Phillipe Cote and Dana Tyrell, also scored.

Norfolk fell to 7-4-0-3 and remains in fifth in the Eastern Conference. Syracuse, last year's Calder Cup runner-up, jumped into second place in the conference and boasts a 9-3-1-0 record with 19 points.

The Admirals next will play the Manchester Monarchs in New Hampshire at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
