There, Adams -- a three-time National Player of the Year and a three-time first-team All-American -- led the Terps to four <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000122" title="NCAA" href="/topic/sports/college-sports/ncaa-ORSPT000122.topic">NCAA</a> crowns and two undefeated seasons. Twice named <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT00000248" title="Atlantic Coast Conference" href="/topic/sports/college-sports/atlantic-coast-conference-ORSPT00000248.topic">Atlantic Coast Conference</a> Female Athlete of the Year (2000 and 2001), Adams, who played attack, remains the NCAA career leader in points (445).
