Tandon Doss, wide receiver

Season in review: After batting injuries in training camp, Doss was slotted as the team's fourth receiver on the depth chart. He saw time as both an outside receiver and in the slot, and the team seemingly was trying to give him more opportunities to make plays as the season went on. He finished with just seven catches for 123 yards and a touchdown during the regular season and played sparingly in the playoffs.
Signature moment: In the second half of the Week 7 loss to the Houston Texans, the Ravens designed a screen play for Doss, who caught a quick pass and navigated around a couple of blocks for a 15-yard touchdown.

Stat that stands out: zero -- catches on 35 postseason snaps, including four plays in which he was targeted.

Pro Football Focus grade: -2.3 overall | -3.6 as a receiver | +1.0 as a blocker | +2.1 on special teams.

Outlook for 2013 and beyond: It would have been nice to see Doss make more of his opportunities last season, but we have to remember that Doss is just entering his third season and it usually takes time for young players at that position to develop. With Anquan Boldin now gone, Doss is in line to get more snaps on offense, particularly out of the slot, where he was being groomed to eventually replace Boldin.
