1992 -- Bill Krueger, who has pitched for Oakland, Los Angeles, Milwaukee and Seattle during his seven-year career, pitched the first shutout of his career in the Minnesota Twins' 7-0 victory over the Chicago White Sox.
2002 -- Taylor Mehlhaff and Kevin Eisenbeisz combined to pitch a five-hitter and Mehlhaff drove in a run with a sacrifice fly as the Aberdeen Smittys defeated Watertown 2-1 in high school baseball.
2007 -- Jordan Foster and Spencer Locke had two hits and drove in two runs each to lead the Aberdeen Smittys high school baseball squad to a season-opening 13-3 five-inning victory over Watertown. Pitchers Sam Heintzman and Austin Hoffman combined to limit Watertown to four hits.
2011 -- Ronnie Sellers singled to drive in Jack Thompson with the game-winning run and lifting Northern State to an 8-7 victory over Minnesota-Crookston and a sweep of a doubleheader. Sellers had an RBI double in the first game as NSU won 3-2.
