1987 -- Juan Nieves pitched the first no-hitter in Milwaukee Brewers history, stopping the Baltimore Orioles 7-0 in a game that was capped by a diving catch by Robin Yount on a line drive to right-center field by Eddie Murray.
2002 -- Northern State senior Eric Longhenry set a new school record and new meet record as he captured first place at the St. John's Heptathlon-Decathlon meet in Collegeville, Minn. Longhenry scored 6,683 points in ten events.
2007 -- Andre Ethier collected three hits, including a double and home run, and drove in four runs, and Russell Martin and Wilson Valdez added three hits to a 13-hit Los Angeles attack as the Dodgers defeated the San Diego Padres 9-3.
2011 -- Conner Anderson of Rosholt and Tanner Bartunek of Summit won two events each at the Rosholt Lions high school track and field meet. Anderson won the 100- and 300-meter hurdles while Bartunek took first in the 100-meter dash and the long jump.
