Columbus Day Weekend Sales On Clothing, Antiques And Crafts

Columbus Day weekend means turning leaves, cooler days and special sales.

>>Clinton Crossing Premium Outlets holds its annual Columbus Day weekend sale Friday, Oct. 9, through Monday, Oct. 12. Many of the center’s stores slash prices on fall merchandise. Stores are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Monday, and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

>>Tanger Outlets in Westbrook and at Foxwoods have special sales throughout Columbus Day weekend. For extra savings, buy a PinkStyle coupon for $5 at customer services and you’ll get 25 percent off one item at select stores; proceeds benefit breast cancer research. Information: tangeroutlet.com.

>>Cornwall Bridge Pottery’s Columbus Day clearance sale is Saturday through Monday, Oct. 9 through 12. The event features great deals on seconds, overruns and remainders. >>The Kiwanis Club’s Big K Flea Market/Craft Fair, 39 E. Cedar St. (Route 175) in Newington, is open each Sunday through October. Hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission donation is $1; parking is free
