Not into Black Friday shopping? Do some time traveling instead. Historic houses and museums in Chester, Deep River and Essex are offering free admission on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 27 and 28. The Essex Historical Society’s Pratt House, 19 West Ave. in Essex, will be open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The Chester Museum at The Mill, 9 West Main St., in Chester and the Deep River Historical Society’s Stone House, 245 Main St., in Deep River, will be open both days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
