No, me neither.
But for those who do like to start thinking about Christmas before Labor Day, there’s good news.
Walmart is kicking off “Toy Week” on Friday, Aug. 28, with a sneak peek at some of the top toys and other holiday trends. (www.walmart.com/chosenbykids.)
The chain is also opening holiday layaway – two weeks earlier than last year – and it’s made some customer-friendly changes to the program.
The price for eligible layaway items has been lowered to $10, (items being placed on layaway must total $50 or more). There’s no opening fee to start a layaway account, but customers must put down 10 percent.
The last day to pick up layaway items is Dec. 14.
