Two schools in Palm Beach County have appealed their school grades to the state: Barton Elementary in Lake Worth and Gold Coast Community School in West Palm Beach.
Barton receiced a D grade and Gold Coast received an F.
A total of 14 schools across the state filed appeals and should hear back within a month. No schools in Broward appealed their grades.

This, however, excludes high schools that won't receive their grades until later this year.
Elementary and middle school grades were released in July and showed significant decline despite a rule preventing schools from dropping more than one letter grade.
Another 20 schools have requested recalculation of grades for late-reported scores and eight schools that did not receive final grades due to investigations for test anomalies are requesting the release of their grades.
