Three Things to consider after the Miami Dolphins improved to 2-3:
Thing 1: Solid day from Ryan Tannehill, who produced the highest passer rating (92.3) of his young career.
Joe Philbin praised Tannehill for doing some of the subtle things, especially when he had to move around in the pocket.
"I thought he managed the game well," Philbin said. "Made some good decisions and bought some extra time, found some guys, didn’t just automatically tuck the ball away and run. He found some receivers downfield, which were big plays for us."
Thing 2: Speaking of Bush, he's still not right physically.
That was obvious to anyone who saw the dynamic weapon rush for just 2.5 yards per carry (48 yards on 19 attempts) with another two catches for 24 yards.
"We had to win," Bush said.
Thing 3: Randy Starks' fourth career interception tied him for the lead among all active defensive tackles.
"We need to put him on the 'hands' team," said fellow defensive lineman Tony McDaniel. "What is this, like his third pick since the last game of last year? I told him, 'I would say it’s luck, but he’s doing it consistently.' "
Starks, of course, can be a free agent at season's end.
He's a keeper.
