Miller's Ale House Dad's Homemade Meatloaf
1 3/4 cups ketchup, divided
½ cup plus 1/3 cup A.1. Sauce
10 pounds ground beef
6 large eggs, beaten
2 cups finely diced green pepper
5 cups Italian bread crumbs
1 large onion, finely diced
4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Brown gravy, for serving, if desired
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using a small bowl, combine ½ cup ketchup and ½ cup A.1. Sauce, set aside for glaze. Using a large bowl and clean hands, combine remaining ingredients, season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide mixture in half and press into two 9x13-inch rectangular pans. Brush tops with reserved glaze. Cover with foil.
2 Bake until cooked through, about 1 hour, or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
3 Allow to cool for 15 minutes. Slice and serve with gravy, if desired.
