Mark Colin

Mark Colin, a longtime Fort Lauderdale dentist who was active in many community associations, died April 8, 2013 of pancreatic cancer. He was 63. Originally from the Bronx, Mr. Colin moved with his family at age 6 to Fort Lauderdale, where his father also established a successful dental practice. After Mr. Colin graduated from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, he moved back to South Florida, where he partnered with his father to open a father-and-son dental practice. Mr. Colin later opened his own dental office in 2000. He was involved in local organizations, including the Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale North and the Coral Ridge Yacht Club. He also was a former president of the Broward County Dental Association.
