Elinor Josephson Named Program Director at Mandel JCC Boynton Beach (mlewilson)

The Boynton Beach location of the Mandel JCC of the Palm Beaches has hired Elinor Josephson as Program Director. Josephson will collaborate with Camp Director Jared Bienenfeld to enhance another fun-filled Camp Shalom experience, which runs June 16, 2014 through August 8, 2014. Josephson previously worked at the Union for Reform Judaism, where she helped develop and open the first Jewish sports academy in the country, called 6 Points Sports Academy. She also worked as Camp Director at the Adolph & Rose Levis JCC in Boca Raton for 15 years, as well as Camp Director at JCCs in Pittsburgh, Pa. and Springfield, Mass. Josephson earned her undergraduate degrees in Hebrew and history at SUNY Binghamton and her master's degree in Jewish communal service from Brandeis University.
