O.J. Simpson home fetches $655,000 at foreclosure auction

O.J. Simpson’s home in Miami-Dade County sold for $655,000 during an online foreclosure auction Tuesday.

TK Miami LLC, a third-party bidder, snapped up the four-bedroom property at 9450 S.W. 112 St., records show. The former football hero, acquitted in 1995 of the double murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, owed $892,283.11.

The plaintiff in the case was JPMorgan Chase Bank. The home was assessed by the county at $487,433. Simpson bought it in 2000 for $575,000.

“Somebody bid above what the bank was looking for,” said Lloyd McClendon, whose Plantation company,, conducts the online foreclosure sales for Miami-Dade County.

Miami Beach-based TK Miami LLC is managed by Thomas R. Kennedy Jr., records show.  

Simpson, 66, remains in a Nevada prison after being convicted of armed robbery and kidnapping in 2008.
