Markham's twisting single-track trails are the most challenging in South Florida and are nationally recognized.
The park has a few novice trails, but the intermediate and advanced trails are built for the hard-core riders.
The course is marked with steep drops and climbs, usually followed by tight, twisting turns made tighter by trees and logs. Bridges, stairs and other obstacles also liven up the paths.
This 666-acre parks also features overnight camping, public swimming pool, outdoor target range and hiking trails. There is also a three-acre dog park with separate sections for large and small dogs.
