Former BSO major sued

Former Broward Sheriff's Major Tony Fantigrassi is being sued in federal court in Fort Lauderdale. Anthony Caravella's attorney said Fantigrassi was involved in coercing a false confession from the 15-year-old Miramar teen, who had an IQ of 67. Caravella spent nearly 26 years in prison before DNA testing set him free.
