ORLANDO -- Eduardo Adolfo Gonzalez is charged in the May 30, 2006, shooting death of Jamie Adair outside Donnelly's Pub near the University of Central Florida. Both men were 18 at the time, reports the Orlando Sentinel. A friend of Adair's spilled beer on Gonzalez, igniting an argument. Gonzalez and his friends were booted out of the bar, which led to the fatal confrontation. It gets worse. Authorities charged Gonzalez with putting an apparent murder plot into motion from behind bars in an effort to kill witnesses to the spilled beer murder. A couple of teens, friends from Miami, gave $1,500 to an undercover detective to take care of the five witnesses, the Orlando Sentinel reported at the time. That's $300 per hit.
