Cops tried to pull over a car that was rolling on its rims at 3:50 a.m. After trying to catch up with the vehicle for a short time, it crashed at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, according to an arrest affidavit from the Bradenton Police Department. The driver, Bobby Carl Wiley, 24, of Palmetto, reportedly had an expired driver's license. The rear seat passenger, Able Delira, 22, also of Palmetto, was the registered owner of the car, cops said. Delira, who is 6-foot-2-inches and weighs 375-pounds, according to inmate records, kept giving the cop his zip code -- when he was asked for his phone number -- and told the cop that his "zip code was how much he had to drink," the affidavit stated. The officer noted in his report that Delira was so drunk that he "was unable to care for himself." During a quick check of the car's trunk -- prompted by the overwhelming smell of pot coming from the vehicle -- the officer found three bags of pot inside a black plastic bag, which had been concealed between the trunk's carpeting and the car's frame. One of the bags was a gallon-size freezer bag filled with weed, according to the arrest report. Delira allegedly told the cop that he doesn't deal pot or drugs. When the officer asked Delira if his fingerprints would be found on the bags of pot inside the trunk, he replied, "they might" and added that he wasn't "trying to be a bad guy or nothing," the record stated. Wiley was charged with DWI with Damage to Property/Person and Driving with an Expired License for 6-months or longer; Delira was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance without a RX and Possession of Marijuana > 20-grams, inmate records show.
