Perhaps she thought that an airline named 'Spirit' would serve her an unlimited number of spirit drinks.
Heather Lynn Dykman, who is accused of disrupting a flight, told aBroward County judge that she was visiting South Florida to attend a 30-day rehab program, reports the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
However, en-route to her destination, the 40-year-old Rockville, Md. woman caused some major turbulence.
Authorities said she consumed two vodka drinks then became angry and approached the galley and gave the crew her middle finger after being denied more booze. She also allegedly used racist, profane and abusive language during and after the Spirit Airlines flight Tuesday night, a complaint affidavit stated.
"It apparently didn't start off on the right foot, ma'am," the Broward Judge told Dykman during her first court appearance Wednesday.
It looks like Dykman has her rehab work cut out for herself.
Good luck, ma'am.
