Veteran Jesse Nash appears in veterans court in front of Circuit Judge Edward Merrigan, Jr., himself an an 18-year vet and army Lt. Col., on the first docket of the new court just for veterans Monday at the Broward County Courthouse in Fort Lauderdale. The judge orders Nash to meet with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Justice Outreach Coordinator Mental Health & Behavioral Science Dr. Giovanna Delgado, Psy. D., a liaison between the VA and the veterans court, and appear again in veterans court in June.
