St. Paul Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School counselors and campers sing and dance to a multimedia presentation to start the day Wednesday morning in Weston. It's not just cookies and juice and bible lessons anymore. Vacation Bible School has become an elaborate production at local churches and across the country, with themes, sophisticated sets that take weeks to set up, and smartphone apps kids can take home. It's all to maintain the attention of electronics-obsessed kids as they learn biblical stories and values.
