When a woman stopped at a red light in Tampa, a man in a Chevy Silverado pulled up beside her and asked her if she had any cocaine or if she knew where he could purchase some. The women told the man she did not appreciate him asking her that question in front of her children, according to a news release from the Tampa Police department.
As she drove away, the woman said the man followed. When she stopped at a stop sign the man blocked her car with his truck. He then held up what appeared to be a police badge and yelled, "I'm an officer," according to the release.
The woman then drove home and called the cops.
She was able to give responding officers a detailed description of the man and his truck.
While searching the area, cops spotted the parked truck and within 30 minutes located the man, later identified as Sandy Johnson, the report stated.
Cops say that when they searched his truck they found a metal badge that was inscribed with black lettering, 'Security - Police'.
The 23-year-old Temple Terrace man is not a police officer, according to real cops.
