Report: Man busted for exposing himself to girl asked her to drop charges via Facebook message

Here's another Facebook fool. Broderick Cameron Furlow had been accused in May of exposing himself to an underage girl at a bus stop, according to an arrest affidavit from the Bradenton Police Department. On Tuesday the girl got a Facebook message from the 25-year-old Bradenton man asking her to drop the charges or not show up in court. According to the arrest affidavit, the Furlow wrote: "Hey, I don't mean to bother you, and if you don't respond I won't bother you again. But is there anyway possible that you could please drop the charges against me, or not show up in court. I'm doing really good with my life now. I'm going to school at MTI now. I started in August and I really, really want to finish school so I can start a career and move on with my life and start a family. I'm really a good man, and if you knew me, u would think the same. I really can't go to jail cuz if I do, then I wouldn't be able to finish school. I'm also not on that (crap) anymore. I'm going to therapy and getting help. I would greatly appreciate it if you took this in consideration. p.s. please don't show this to the cops cuz if you do I could get into a lot of trouble. Dnt worry, if you don't want to drop the charges or anything and u never want to hear from me again then this will be my last message. thanks." The message scared the girl, who immediately showed it to her dad, according to the report. Now Furlow faces new charge: Tampering with a Victim.
