Antonio Allen comforts Andrew Allen (no relation), after a sentencing hearing for convicted murderers Leon Reid and Phillips Pierre at the Broward County Courthouse. Reid and Pierre were convicted of killing Anthony Elias, the brother of Antonio Allen, and friend of Andrew Allen, and of attempted murder for shooting and paralyzing Andrew Allen. The pair were convicted Thursday of first-degree murder after four previous trials ended in hung juries.
