Chaminade-Madonna wide receiver Alex Thomas committed to Bowling Green late Thursday night.
The six-foot-one wide receiver was ranked by the Sun Sentinel as the ninth-best receiver in Broward County and the 48th best player overall. He considered offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Kent State, Western Kentucky and Minnesota.
Thomas is a smooth-running wideout who has the ability to reach any ball thrown to him, thanks to his flexibility.
He’s Bowling Green’s first commit from South Florida this season — last year, the Falcons signed four South Floridians, DT Darius Holiday, RB Fred Coppet, CB Omar Pierre-Lewis, and DE Jason Shepherd.
