The PVSA gives U.S. Presidential recognition to individuals who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to volunteer service each year. There are three PVSA categories: Gold for 500+ hours of volunteer service; Silver for 250-499 volunteer hours; and Bronze for 100-249 hours of service. Of the 70-plus South Florida AT&T employees recognized, 14 achieved the Gold President's Volunteer Service Award, 23 earned the Silver award, and 34 received the Bronze award. "People matter - to each other, to our communities, and to our company," said AT&T Florida President Joe York. "This has been one of our core beliefs since AT&T was founded. We're proud of our employees for investing their time in our communities to make a difference. We believe our workforce, our business and the communities we serve are all stronger because of volunteerism."
