Why it's so good: If you love bacon, why not add it to pecan pie? Sweet and salty have never tasted so good.
Baker bio: Lorow, 53, is a nurse in the operating room at Memorial Hospital West in Pembroke Pines. When she's not in the OR, she's in her kitchen. "Sweets are my passion," she says. "It's my creative outlet." She's good enough at creating new recipes that she can write down the ingredients and know how the resulting dessert will taste.
