Stay-at-home dad in the Houston area. He had worked as a construction project manager until lingering football injuries left him unable to do the job. He had two back surgeries within the past year and contracted bacterial meningitis during preparation for one of the surgeries. He lost more than 60 pounds as a result of the illness. He declared bankruptcy in 2007.
