Powerball hits again, this time in Tampa

Just a week after a record $590.5 million Powerball jackpot ticket was sold in Zephryhills, the area has another winner, this time in Tampa.

The ticket was sold at Carrollwood Convenience and Market, 4550 W. Village Drive, Tampa. It was one of three that will share a $50 million jackpot. The two other tickets were sold in Delaware and Louisiana.

The numbers were: 2-6-19-21-27 with a Powerball of 25. This is the seventh Powerball winner from Florida, which has more Powerball winners than any other state.

You'd think that it's rare that the same state would produce two winners in two weeks, but it happened last year in Iowa, with a $202 million winner on Sept. 26, then a $50 million winner on Oct. 3. Maybe it's luck residue?

The winner has 180 days to claim the prize; it's 90 days if the winner wants to take the cash in a lump sum. So far, the winner from Zephyrhills has yet to claim their prize.

Meanwhile, Florida Lotto was a rollover and is at $15 million for Wednesday night's drawing. No one had 1-21-26-30-46-48.
