Mitchell Manresa apparently is the top dog at Mardi Gras Casino. He ate 11 of them at Mardi Gras Casino's contest and took home $1,000 cash.
Each contestant has three minutes to consume as many hot dogs and buns as possible. Partially eaten and un-swallowed hot dogs did not count.
A Mardi Gras press release said Steve Harmon, Big105.9’s on-air talent and Paul & Young Ron Morning Show Executive producer, was onsite to emcee the event. Liam Burt came in third place eating eight hot dogs; in second place eating nine hot dogs was Michael Parish.
