Winger: The band best known for squishy hits "Seventeen" and "Headed for a Heartache," their rep as hair-metal posers vividly illustrated by the Winger T-shirt worn by dorky "Beavis and Butt-head" foil Stewart on the animated MTV hit, may get the last laugh after all. Winger's new album, "Better Days Comin'," has gotten positive buzz ("a mean and moody slice of heavy rock," Metal Forces magazine says) and a nationwide tour hits the Culture Room (3045 N. Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale) at 8 p.m. Thursday. Dayride Ritual and the Goddamn Hustle open. $20. 954-564-1074 or - Ben Crandell
