The South Florida Symphony Orchestra's Blue Door String Quartet will give folks an aural sample of the City of Lights during Sunday's "American in Paris." The program, which features Reynaldo Hahn's String Quartet No. 1 in A minor, Maurice Ravel's String Quartet in F major and Aaron Copland's Movement for String Quartet, is named after the latter composer, who spent his early studies in Paris. The recital will begin at 7 p.m. with a reception at Josephine S. Leiser Opera Center (221 SW Third Ave., Fort Lauderdale). $30. 954-522-8445 or SouthFloridaSymphony.org.
