The man with 50 shades of rage, Lewis Black, told audiences on a recent tour stop, "I don't want [politicians] talking to me. I almost don't want them talking to me ever again. These people are my age, most of them. And they've learned nothing in their lifetime, except to become the parents that were around when I was a kid." Not a fiscal cliff fan, Lewis? Brimming as he is with anger and spittle-filled tirades, the 64-year-old Black (he hits Social Security retirement age in August) expounds on the general absurdities in life and waxes biliously about his own baby-boomer generation ("if you don¿t vote, you don¿t get to bitch"). He even takes shots at Kim Kardashian. But Black happily shares that, despite his frothing rage, his blood pressure is just fine. After performing on Broadway in October, the frequent correspondent for "The Daily Show" brings his Rant Is Due tour Sunday night to the Coral Springs Center for the Arts (2855 Coral Springs Drive). Tickets are sold out, but resourceful folks should seek their nearest third-party ticket retailer. 954-344-5999 or CoralSpringsCenterfortheArts.com.
