Passion Pit, Matt & Kim and South Florida's own Surfer Blood are among the headliners of the inaugural Coastline Festival, which will set down at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach Nov. 10.
Tickets for the festival, priced very reasonably, are on sale at CoastlineFestival.com. Early bird rates are $35 reserved and $20 general-admission lawn through Aug. 18, when advance prices go to $40 and $25. Tickets at the gate will be $45 reserved, $30 lawn. General-admission pit tickets are $55.
The lineup -- music to the ears of locals who have found Palm Beach County’s other big annual pop festival, Sunfest, lacking in indie adventure -- also includes Two Door Cinema, the Joy Formidable, Capital Cities, Fitz and the Tantrums, St. Lucia, the Mowgli’s, the Neighbourhood and the Royal Concept.
Many of those acts also are scheduled to perform at a Tampa edition of the festival on Nov. 9.
The Coastline Festival, dubbed “a musiculinary experience,” will also have a craft beer gathering, with more than two dozen Florida beers and a few national brands, food trucks and art exhibits.
