Ruth's Chris Steak House's signature filet mignon, pictured here with a side of steamed asparagus, was one of numerous reasons more than 2,600 consumers surveyed by Restaurants & Institutions magazine named the chain America's best steak house. Ruth's Chris also received the highest overall rating of any chain restaurant in the country and received top honors for atmosphere, cleanliness, convenience, food quality, good reputation, and service. Ruth's Chris was founded in New Orleans by the late Ruth Fertel in 1965.
