What's your dream job? Hmm apart from being an advertising account executive? I'd have to say the next Ellen DeGeneres or Erin Andrews (with no scandals and a bias toward Philly sports teams. Sorry, Hawks fans!)
Relevant Experience: I was brought on to Newell Rubbermaid, a CPG company, for a rotational program in brand management. I worked there for a year and a half right out of college. Eventually I decided to leave the "client side" in favor of becoming an account executive.
What's your top tip for living cheaply in Chicago? Invest in a good pair of walking shoes. Attend as many summer street festivals as possible. Read the RedEye and Time Out Chicago. Need I say Groupon and LivingSocial?
Tell us about your most bizarre Chicago experience: I used to drive the company mini-van (aka "corporate shuttle") for all commuters from the city to the 'burbs. Just don't call me soccer mom.
Craziest interview so far? I was recently on a 3-hour interview with six back-to-back's in one room. We kept to a pretty tight schedule, so when one of my interviewers didn't show up, I panicked. Was this a test? Where's Ashton Kutcher? Turns out the guy had to go out of town last minute for a client meeting. While HR was super sweet and extremely apologetic, I did not get the job offer...
