2014 Steampunk Cabaret And Burlesque Show

The Brass Ring Academy and Cabaret hosted a Steampunk inspired evening Saturday, Jan. 4, at the New England Carousel Museum in Bristol. The event started with dance performances by the Desert Moon Dancers, followed by Magician Daniel Greenwolf and a steampunk burlesque show by the White Elephant Burlesque Society. Steampunk is a genre of science fiction that typically features a mix of steam-powered machinery and Victorian-era fashion often set in alternative history worlds. Musical performances that night included Them Damn Hamiltons and Frenchy and the Punk. Alex Syphers | Special to CTNow
