It was a bite-sized bonanza Wednesday evening May 14, as restaurants and businesses in New London's Historic Waterfront District offered food samplings during the annual New London Spring Food Stroll. More than 50 restaurants participated in the event this year offering tastes ranging from Southern Jambalaya, to the Latin paella, cupcakes, fried pickles, and shots of locally brewed beers. The evening was culminated by the officially lighting of the New London Light Cube, a permanent lighted art installation at the Water Street Parking Garage, designed by Stamford artist Sandy Garnett.
