The Mark Twain House and Museum hosted its annual gala Saturday evening, Nov. 8 at the Hartford Club, 46 Prospect St., Hartford. "The Greatest Gala of Earth," as it was touted, was an evening themed around the late 19th century circus and included entertainment by a fire-breather, palm reader, juggler, a strongman, contortionist and other magicians and soothsayers. The annual gala is the largest fundraiser for the Twain House.
