The annual Crocodile Club lunch was held at Lake Compounce Friday, Sept. 5. Now in its 133rd year, the annual gathering brings together politicians and activists of both parties for a cordial lunch, punctuated by good-natured ribbing by candidates for office. This year's lunch included speeches and jokes from Governor Malloy, Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, Congressman John Larson, Republican candidate for the 1st Congressional District Matthew Corey, Republican candidate for Lt. Governor Heather Somers, and Independent candidate for governor Joe Visconti. Tom Foley, Republican candidate for governor, did not attend. Read Java here.
