30th annual Connecticut Pride Festival

Hundreds flocked to Bushnell Park in Hartford this weekend to take part in the 30th Annual CT Pride festival on Saturday, Sept. 17. Since 1981, CT Pride has worked to promote awareness, tolerance, acceptance, and equality for all gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people. This year the rally hosted a range of singing and performances emceed by Fox 61's Rachel Lutzker and The River 105.9's Renee DiNino. Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra and his partner Charlie Ortiz also made an appearance, leading the Pride Parade through Bushnell Park before speaking to the crowd.
