Chesapeake Shakespeare Company ends its successful 2011 summer run of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged)" in repertory this weekend, with performances Thursday-Saturday, July 28-30 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, July 31 at 6 p.m. Tickets can be arranged at the Web site http://www.chesapeakeshakespeare.com, and range from $15 to $36 with those younger than 18 free.
The new production of "Grease" at the Olney Theatre Centre won't officially open until this weekned, but it has already announced an extension through Aug. 28. Howard County native Bobby Smith directed this staging, which features many young Maryland talents.
