CT restaurant inspections reveal roaches, rodent droppings, unsafe food practices

Under newer inspection guidelines priority item violations are the most serious because they can lead to foodborne illness.

Records from the district show at least 16 restaurants during January and February have had priority item violations found during routine health inspections.

Hartford students and parents marched to the state Capitol Wednesday to demand more education funding. The district plans to cut 387 staff positions.
