My Best Shot -- Tibet

During a monthlong journey through China, Jeff Wilson and his son came across Yamzhog Yumco Lake, one of the sacred lakes in the snow region, during their time in Tibet. Jeff describes it this way: “It was mid-afternoon on Day 3 of our nine-day trek from Lhasa to Mount Everest. I felt as if I was in a National Geographic story. It was hard to decide what was more beautiful: the people or the vistas within Tibet. While the terrain was harsh, the people were warm and friendly.”
