Taylor Sherwin continues to pile up honors at Ohio State

For the second time this season, former Lake Highland Prep volleyball player Taylor Sherwin was named the Big Ten Setter of the Week. This past week she helped keep the 13th-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes undefeated with wins over IUPUI, Southeast Missouri State and Xavier in the Sports Imports DC Koehl Classic tournament in Columbus, Ohio.

Sherwin, a junior, was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player after recording a pair of double-doubles and finishing with a 12.55 assists average over 11 sets played.

For the tourney, she had 138 assists and 33 digs in 11 sets.

After another weekend sweep at the Buffalo Blue and White Classic, where Ohio State defeated Maryland Easternshore, Valparaiso and host Buffalo. The Buckeyes are 12-0 and open Big Ten play Friday.
