It was only a matter of time until Lake Highland Prep cornerback Ty Law was going to commit to Memphis.
But things changed when the Tigers fired head coach Larry Porter on Sunday.
“I was ready to pull the trigger on my official to Memphis, but now [I don’t know],” Law said.
Law (5-10, 17)—ranked No. 47 on the Sentinel’s 2012 Central Forida Super60—still plans on visiting Memphis next weekend, but he will reevaluate his recruitment now that the team’s coaching situation is up in the air.
He is looking at visiting Ball State on Jan. 13. Law has offers from Memphis, Ball State, Washington State, FAU, South Alabama, Elon, Fordham, Southern Illinois and Bethune Cookman.
Louisville and Ball State have visited Law at school recently.
Law said he also thinks Indiana and Middle Tennessee State are close to offering him.Copyright © 2015, CT Now
