Orlando man wins multimillion-dollar Florida jackpot

An Orlando man is ending the week a bit wealthier - $2 million richer to be exact.

Sung Lee, 47, of Orlando claimed his Florida Lottery prize from Tuesday's Mega Money jackpot winning.

He took the one-time, lump-sum payment in the amount of $1,536,202.14, said Calla MacNamara, Florida lottery spokeswoman.

Lee bought his ticket from the 7-Eleven at 5300 Radebaugh Way near The Mall at Millenia in Orlando.

The owner of the lucky location will receive a commission check of $1,000 for selling the winning ticket.

"That's awesome," said Stephen Warris, who has owned the 7-Eleven for about three years. "I didn't know I won, too!"

Warris said lottery tickets – especially the scratch off kind – are popular sellers year-round.

Lee's ticket is the tenth jackpot-winning ticket sold in Orange County since 2004.

The next Mega Money drawing is tonight at 11:15 p.m. with a $500,000 prize. or 407-420-5620
