Happy birthday, Billy Cooper.
The Orlando man won $1 million Tuesday on his 67th birthday.
Today, Cooper cashed in his 100X The Cash scratch-off ticket at state Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee and took home a one-time, lump-sum payment of $700,456.56, according to the lottery.
The ticket cost him $25 when he bought it Tuesday at a Publix supermarket at 1921 S. Alafaya Trail, said lottery spokeswoman Calla MacNamara.
The scratch-off game offers $460 million in prizes, including 32 $1 million prizes and four $5 million prizes yet to be won. Scratch-off tickets account for 60 percent of all lottery sales and generated more than $575 million for the state Educational Enhancement Trust Fund in 2012-13, according to the lottery.
