The Sunday dramas will have most viewers talking this weekend. The rundown, starting with the two most-discussed dramas going these days:
On “Game of Thrones,” Jon gains volunteers at 9 p.m. on HBO. Bran, Jojen, Meera and Hodor find shelter. "Dany balances justice and mercy," HBO teases. The episode is called "Oathkeeper."
"The Good Wife" puts Alicia in another tough spot, thanks to creepy client Colin Sweeney (Dylan Baker). Eli deals with a potential public-relations disaster involving Zach, Alicia's son. The episode airs at 9 p.m. on CBS. The guest stars include Michael Cerveris, Jane Alexander, James McDaniel and Laura Benanti, who plays Sweeney’s fiancée.
ABC's "Once Upon a Time" presents a series of mysteries: Will Zelena kill Henry? Will Hook kiss Emma? Will Regina and Robin Hood get together? There’s also a search for Glinda, the Good Witch of the South, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Readers tell me that not enough is happening on ABC's "Resurrection," at 9 p.m. on ABC. That may change this weekend. Medical research on the resurrected gives ways to an epidemic that sweeps Arcadia. The episode is called "Schemes of the Devil."
Jane and Lisbon uncover a human smuggling ring on "The Mentalist" at 10 on CBS. Better enjoy these season-ending episodes; it seems likely "The Mentalist" will end its CBS run next month.
"Mad Men" offers an episode called "Field Trip," and that plot evidently refers to Don's spur-of-the-moment journey. In the episode, at 10 p.m. on AMC, a questionable asset will bedevil the partners.
On "Turn," the spies work to get their findings to Gen. George Washington. The episode, at 9 on AMC, puts more strain on Abe, who questions a British order to dig up gravestones.
On the comedy front, "Last Week Tonight With John Oliver" debuts at 11 p.m. Sunday on HBO. Oliver proved at "The Daily Show" that he has the gift for hosting and the smarts for offering cutting satire on the news. His first guest will be Gen. Keith Alexander. HBO says Alexander is giving his first interview since retiring as director of the National Security Agency and head of U.S. Cyber Command.
Also this weekend:
"Last Man Standing" presents its season finale at 8 p.m. Friday on ABC.
"Kitchen Nightmares" offers two hours at 8 p.m. Friday on Fox.
